Sabay sa Uso

Happy Easter ! I'm sure you guys are refreshed from a very long weekend. From Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, that was 4 days off from work/school and that was what everyone just wanted and waited for for a long while after Christmas break. Well, I had a reflective Holy Week as well, not the enjoyed one like most of you who chose those days to have a vacation with your friends and family. Mine was the usual, probably boring stuff for most of you but for me those days were very significant. I admit, I'm not the goody goody type of person or type of Roman Catholic, I still trip but I'm sure my FAITH  is still on the right track. I don't intend to offend other Religions who do not honor "Holy Week" because I don't know anything about their religion all I know is that we all pray to a same God (I strongly believe this). I don't even mean to question the Atheists, it's really something they strongly believe also. I don't intend to bash those pe...

You're One Lucky Soul.

I promised myself not to do this, but I could not help it. #CHARLUNGS Today marks another year of your  FANTABULOUS life. Yup, Fantastic & Fabulous. Never mind the age, it's just a number because I know you're still the 17 year old I met way back first year in College. You're that spunky lass with super black long straight hair with full bangs. Oh, how time flies, we've been friends (or putting up with each other if you want HAHAHAHA!!) 7 long years. And yes, you're still the same. Remember this? Atong jogging turned walking turned chikka turned food feast.. If I may, which I can.. HAHA Let me list some of the things that people doesn't know about you and maybe you don't even know. Ready? • You want to eat extremely exotic and not to mention non-edible crap like Mothballs, Albatross and Safeguard. How unique you taste buds can be.. *clap clap clap* • People don't know, that you're a man covered with make up and dress. Diba?...

Noble Profession

"People do not win fights. Lawyers do."  -Norman Ralph Augustine It was yesterday, March 19 2014 when the Supreme Court of the Philippines announced and released the results of 2013 BAR Examinations that was held last October 2013, those four Sundays that aspiring lawyers- Bachelor of Laws graduates took to officially put their names on the prestigious Roll of Attorneys in the Philippines. Four  nerve-wrecking Sundays that the examiners went through and I will never fathom what they have been through, what they all have felt every Sunday of that month. I just could not imagine. The Philippines should be rejoicing and be happy to welcome our new, young and fresh Lawyers, ready to take on anything. I personally hope for these new breed of justice-seekers to do their job well, abide by the Code of Professional Responsibility that was taught to them and always be moral in all their ways. And above all, uphold the Law. I myself is aspiring to be a Lawyer someday. It has...

Because her heart is bigger than her.

So today was a fine day. Woke up particularly early to study and decided to do it at the heart of the city over coffee and a bad tasting chicken turnover. (Sorry 'bout that, I don't want to lie.) Forcing my feet up, went outside the coffee shop, feeling the crisp, cold summer air on my face which traveled towards me whole body making my feet numb. (Why do i have to write that?) I faced today's challenge, that is going to work with a light head due to a sleepless night (SCREW YOU FINALS WEEK! SCREW YOU!!)  As the hours pass, and because i was really consumed of what i was doing, I haven't noticed it's break time already. Surprised, I decided to eat my lunch with my office mate. Just when I was about to think of today as another routine of my slightly boring life, after opening my Facebook, I switched on my curiosity side that urged me to write this post. (I will explain how I came to that later but I know you'll figure out why I wrote this blog in no time.) Oka...

What is Public Service?

(This is a speech that I wrote.. It's a draft.. ) What is Public Service? According to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, Public Service is defined as “the business of supplying a commodity (as electricity or gas) or service (as transportation) to any or all members of a community. If Public Service is supplying the needs of the members of a community, it should also be understood to be done whole-heartedly and honestly to the best of the ability of the public servant. Why do I tell you this? To tell you that, you, people of this nation, is the top-most priority of these so-called “public servants” in their desire to help us and to make our lives better. We, the community who should be supplied well enough and be taken cared off, should not suffer and sacrifice but we should live our lives in comfort. Yet why do we still suffer? We can still see people on the streets, eating their meagre food while the so-called “public servants” sit comfortably on their chairs, free of any dust,...

Life via Internet and all other Stuff

(This my own personal view, so If you feel like I have actually hurt you, I'm sorry. Since this is a blog, I am not so much on specifics but i tend to talk on general. So, if you have any opinions about what I said, or any violent reactions, feel free to fire up my comment box and say all those nasty things, I will be accepting them. If I hit anyone below the belt, tell me. Thank You!) When you say online, what comes to mind? Don't fool me, more so yourself that you will just be researching on something, give me your balls if it's not true. (insert super evil laugh) Of course not right? So tell me, what comes to mind? *ting* FACEBOOK ! Screaming inside your brain, that tells you to log in and voila, social networking on progress. There's nothing really wrong with Facebook, or netizens call "Facebooking." You see, the "facebook" now becomes a verb, it's an action word now. (How the world evolves according to the ever mighty internet, right?) ...

A welcome-back-to-blogging Rant.

Yes, i'm finally resurrecting my blog. It has been like what? a year since I have posted so it must be right that I start on doing this stuff again. Writing has been one of my ways to express myself, well probably the very best way I can express myself. I really find comfort in writing, it feels like the wind caressing my face, it really soothes me deep inside. It enables me to realize things i ever thought I would have discovered myself, since while I'm writing my mind is always on the process of analyzing things, or anything. It also is my kind of therapy, I get to explore new things about me, about the things around me, about my feelings, my discoveries, passions, and i get to discover a whole new world that surrounds me. To make sense of my blog title, here's a little "rant" on why I decided to finally put things back to order; that is to re-make my blog. I don't have any other hobby, especially on expressing myself.  It's like, when I write on a...

Mystique Island of Siquijor

Okay. This is a super late post. To be exact, a 2 month old post. (hihihi i got caught up with so many things..hihi) Anyway, this is, i could say, one of the most memorable trip i had yet experienced. All the travel, the heat, the fun, not to mention the FOOD  !, the beach and everything about this trip. Last June 8, me and my family decided to have a little trip of our own, to celebrate my father's 50th birthday. The place my father chose is the Mystique Island of Siquijor. Siquijor is situated in the Visayas, a small island near Dumaguete. It has been called Mystique Island because it has been widely known to all Filipinos about sorcerers and those kinds of mysteries. Of course, at first i had fear, what if? But, all of them was gone, all the fear was replaced with amazement of how lovely, clean and refreshing the place is. The whole island is small, comprising of only 6 municipalities. The whole island can be toured for a day.. One thing that get's you grit your teeth abou...

RANT: Jeepney Ride ala Philippines

"Oh, sibogi lang, palihog lang sibog.. dili lang ta mag side view"  In the Philippines, one of the major mode of public transportation is through riding a Jeepney. The etymology of the word Jeepney came the words, "jeep" and "knee" because from the earlier times, Jeepney's were smaller and has crowded sitting already and passengers must sit knee to knee. According to history, the Philippine Jeepney's did not come from our own because the idea of Jeepney as transportation came about when Filipino's used their creativity and intelligence transforming Military Jeeps that American soldiers sold and gave to the locals before they left the Philippines into full scale transportation Jeepneys. From the original jeeps, the locals refurbished them extending them longer to accommodate more people, adding metal roofs and adding colors and styles from paints to hood designs. To this day, Jeepney's are much bigger, styled, colorful, enhanced...

I was surfing the internet for good stuffs when i came across another Do It Yourself. The "NEEDS"

"Gadgets gadgets, when will you be mine? When is the right time?" Don't worry. This is not one those blogs who merely "show off" their stuff. NO!  As time goes by, everything changes, specifically speaking, when our WANTS now becomes a SEMI-NEED(or am i justifying myself?!).  Okay, i would like to reason out, (RANT should i say) why on i NEED all these... First, i love art. And one of the best medium to produce art is through a camera, DSLR of course. When one captures a scenery, a moment, event, portrait, that becomes art with delicate shots that has been produced with passion. I always envy those people who could post in their blogs, social networking sites perfect quality photos because i want to share how i define Photography too.  Second, come on, who does not want an iPad ? WHO DOES?!! Applications on these beauty fascinates me(i have an iPod Touch though, but.....) all the time. One purpose why i would want something like this...
