Happy Easter !
I'm sure you guys are refreshed from a very long weekend. From Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, that was 4 days off from work/school and that was what everyone just wanted and waited for for a long while after Christmas break. Well, I had a reflective Holy Week as well, not the enjoyed one like most of you who chose those days to have a vacation with your friends and family. Mine was the usual, probably boring stuff for most of you but for me those days were very significant. I admit, I'm not the goody goody type of person or type of Roman Catholic, I still trip but I'm sure my FAITH is still on the right track. I don't intend to offend other Religions who do not honor "Holy Week" because I don't know anything about their religion all I know is that we all pray to a same God (I strongly believe this). I don't even mean to question the Atheists, it's really something they strongly believe also. I don't intend to bash those people who are so-called Catholics but they only become one when strife and struggles come. Catholics only in times of big celebrations, yes they go to church but afterwards they still backbite their neighbors. Catholics who seems to be very devoted, holding rosaries on their hands but after praying the rosary, they are still maltreating their house helps.
No, i don't want to offend you but you can't blame me. I'm just baffled of what has become of you. I'm not judging you but I just could not help but be mesmerized by your ways.
I'm not a very devoted Catholic also and there a lot of times where I choose not to go to church on Sundays. I always forgot that October is the Rosary Month. I don't remember all the things that needs to be done on Holy Week. I don't even read the Bible everyday. All I remember is Christmas. I'm one stupid catholic for the devoted ones, but I'm pretty sure, some of you devoted Catholics are in same boat with me in Hell. Although I don't go to church regularly, I make sure I pray to Him before I sleep (if i don't forget). I praise and pray to Him in private, because those moments are the private moments I have with Him. I admire those people who are true to their being Catholics, but I admire even more those people who are Catholics, but doesn't have the need to show the world of how devoted they are.
Why I decided to make this blog is because there are a lot of things I noticed during those 4 days. Let me put it down for you.
1. The excessive use of Instagram to post all your vacation pictures.
Do I still need to elaborate more on this? You know because of this realization, I was provoked, yes provoked (HAHA) to post a very sarcastic status on Facebook. Which as for all who follows me on that Social Site, must have noticed I use Facebook to ridicule people. (HAHAHA) I thought you're a devoted Catholic? on a vacation? Okay.
2. "I am very religious" Instagram posts of Churches.
Okay. No more sarcastic comments. I'm speechless.
3. The EVER "Station of the Cross" posts.
So much for sacrificing huh? Can't even sacrifice on not using your Smartphones and Tablets. Didn't you find it irritating on bringing all those things while walking? I would also like to include using Smartphones and Tablet during the Easter Sunday Mass. Like duh?! You're all getting on my nerves.
4. "BIKO" and "BINIGNIT" posts
Hahay -_-
5. The BIBLE verses posted as Status on Facebook.
For what you slut?! Can't even remember those words when you decide to open your legs. Ugh! (Sorry)
And there are still a lot of them but I can't continue because I'm slightly getting irritated. I'm sorry, but some us are hypocrites. You only felt the need to change when it's Holy Week? Who are you fooling? I'm not a good person, nor try my hardest to be one. I sin, most of the time but I don't cloud my mistakes with showing off how "religious" I am when I can't even live the words I utter.
Again, A Happy Easter to you.
