Life via Internet and all other Stuff

(This my own personal view, so If you feel like I have actually hurt you, I'm sorry. Since this is a blog, I am not so much on specifics but i tend to talk on general. So, if you have any opinions about what I said, or any violent reactions, feel free to fire up my comment box and say all those nasty things, I will be accepting them. If I hit anyone below the belt, tell me. Thank You!) When you say online, what comes to mind? Don't fool me, more so yourself that you will just be researching on something, give me your balls if it's not true. (insert super evil laugh) Of course not right? So tell me, what comes to mind? *ting* FACEBOOK ! Screaming inside your brain, that tells you to log in and voila, social networking on progress. There's nothing really wrong with Facebook, or netizens call "Facebooking." You see, the "facebook" now becomes a verb, it's an action word now. (How the world evolves according to the ever mighty internet, right?) ...

A welcome-back-to-blogging Rant.

Yes, i'm finally resurrecting my blog. It has been like what? a year since I have posted so it must be right that I start on doing this stuff again. Writing has been one of my ways to express myself, well probably the very best way I can express myself. I really find comfort in writing, it feels like the wind caressing my face, it really soothes me deep inside. It enables me to realize things i ever thought I would have discovered myself, since while I'm writing my mind is always on the process of analyzing things, or anything. It also is my kind of therapy, I get to explore new things about me, about the things around me, about my feelings, my discoveries, passions, and i get to discover a whole new world that surrounds me. To make sense of my blog title, here's a little "rant" on why I decided to finally put things back to order; that is to re-make my blog. I don't have any other hobby, especially on expressing myself.  It's like, when I write on a...

Mystique Island of Siquijor

Okay. This is a super late post. To be exact, a 2 month old post. (hihihi i got caught up with so many things..hihi) Anyway, this is, i could say, one of the most memorable trip i had yet experienced. All the travel, the heat, the fun, not to mention the FOOD  !, the beach and everything about this trip. Last June 8, me and my family decided to have a little trip of our own, to celebrate my father's 50th birthday. The place my father chose is the Mystique Island of Siquijor. Siquijor is situated in the Visayas, a small island near Dumaguete. It has been called Mystique Island because it has been widely known to all Filipinos about sorcerers and those kinds of mysteries. Of course, at first i had fear, what if? But, all of them was gone, all the fear was replaced with amazement of how lovely, clean and refreshing the place is. The whole island is small, comprising of only 6 municipalities. The whole island can be toured for a day.. One thing that get's you grit your teeth abou...

RANT: Jeepney Ride ala Philippines

"Oh, sibogi lang, palihog lang sibog.. dili lang ta mag side view"  In the Philippines, one of the major mode of public transportation is through riding a Jeepney. The etymology of the word Jeepney came the words, "jeep" and "knee" because from the earlier times, Jeepney's were smaller and has crowded sitting already and passengers must sit knee to knee. According to history, the Philippine Jeepney's did not come from our own because the idea of Jeepney as transportation came about when Filipino's used their creativity and intelligence transforming Military Jeeps that American soldiers sold and gave to the locals before they left the Philippines into full scale transportation Jeepneys. From the original jeeps, the locals refurbished them extending them longer to accommodate more people, adding metal roofs and adding colors and styles from paints to hood designs. To this day, Jeepney's are much bigger, styled, colorful, enhanced...

The "NEEDS"

"Gadgets gadgets, when will you be mine? When is the right time?" Don't worry. This is not one those blogs who merely "show off" their stuff. NO!  As time goes by, everything changes, specifically speaking, when our WANTS now becomes a SEMI-NEED(or am i justifying myself?!).  Okay, i would like to reason out, (RANT should i say) why on i NEED all these... First, i love art. And one of the best medium to produce art is through a camera, DSLR of course. When one captures a scenery, a moment, event, portrait, that becomes art with delicate shots that has been produced with passion. I always envy those people who could post in their blogs, social networking sites perfect quality photos because i want to share how i define Photography too.  Second, come on, who does not want an iPad ? WHO DOES?!! Applications on these beauty fascinates me(i have an iPod Touch though, but.....) all the time. One purpose why i would want something like this...

Laughter

Rodolfo Vera Quizon 1928-2012 John Purontong. Kevin Cosme. and so maybe the list goes on. In each of those roles this person has portrayed, there was always one thing common among them, the Laughter  he has shared with all of us. His brilliance as an actor showed immensely throughout the years, and he has been the same ever since. Mang Dolphy, as many of the Filipinos fondly calls this amazing person, defined what real fun is and he was victorious in bringing the whole country to their happiest. Every television show or motion picture he starred does not only relieves many of the Filipinos of their isolated problems but also taught them lessons in the course of every story.  I was born way younger than him, and at the moment i came to understand almost everything, i saw him on that black square television set, smiling, cracking jokes, mischievous, wacky, happy. " Home Along Da Riles " was one of those sit-com's i can always associate with Mang Dolphy, the cha...
